Eric H. Prensky



Dr. Eric H. Prensky is a partner in the San Francisco office. Eric has a track record of success in assisting global and regional firms in executive assessment and development and senior team effectiveness. He excels at designing and implementing customized processes that help senior executives accelerate their upward progression in the talent pipeline. Eric is known for his ability to develop lasting partnerships with executives and is sought after by first-time CEOs to help boost their performance. He is also a member of the Objective Testing Center of Excellence (OTCOE) at RHR, helping to provide expert interpretation of assessment tools to clients. Eric has provided consulting services to companies that vary in size and complexity, from high-tech startups to Fortune 100 corporations. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including retail and consumer goods, life sciences and biotechnology, insurance and financial services, and high-growth technology sectors.

Prior to joining RHR International, Eric was the principal of his own consulting group focused on designing and delivering individualized leadership engagements for corporate and nonprofit clients. Previously, he fulfilled professorial, administrative, and leadership roles for both the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University and the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago.

Eric received a doctorate from Texas Tech University and was awarded a bachelor’s degree with honors from Skidmore College. He previously served as the chair of the California Psychological Association’s consulting division for two years. When not working, Eric enjoys hiking, road biking, and international travel.
