Grant W. Levitan

Senior Partner


Dr. Grant W. Levitan is a senior partner in the Chicago office. For more than 30 years, Grant has brought wise counsel to executives, helping them to lead change, prepare for globalization, and move into the CEO chair. Grant has consulted with board members and senior management teams from over 40 nations, creating and executing innovative team effectiveness and strategic human resource programs. Grant consults in multinational public corporations and has extensive expertise in manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals, and private equity.

Grant served as the managing director of the London office from 1991 to 1996 and led RHR's Central region from 2002 to 2011.

Before joining RHR International, Grant held numerous research and training positions at the University of Illinois at Chicago and served as a community mental health consultant in Ohio and Colorado.

Grant received a bachelor’s degree from Denison University, a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Illinois State University, and a PhD in learning and motivation and clinical psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Grant is a member of the American Psychological Association and is also an alumnus of the British Psychological Society. He currently serves on the board of the Illinois Manufacturing foundation, a charity that teaches computer-aided machinery technology to the disadvantaged and undereducated and places them in well-paying jobs. When not working, Grant enjoys all forms of outdoor exercise, travel, and wildlife viewing.
