Dr. Jeff Kirschner is a partner in the New York office. Jeff has served the C-suite as a coach, assessor, team builder, and trainer for more than 30 years. He specializes in CEO succession, board effectiveness, senior executive coaching, assessment, and executive team development. Jeff has deep experience in the financial services and pharmaceutical sectors and has also consulted in technology, manufacturing, food, consumer goods, retail, and non-profit organizations. He has worked with a wide range of clients—from entrepreneurial startups to Fortune 500 companies—both in the U.S. and globally.
Jeff is recognized for his pragmatic consulting style in helping individuals and organizations drive value by enhancing their leadership capabilities. Specific accomplishments include leading a culture transformation project for a Global 100 manufacturer, managing a global assessment project for a Fortune 50 corporation that provided 1,500 assessments over nine months, and leading a CEO succession project for a billion-dollar company.
Prior to joining RHR, Jeff led teams in cross-functional, global consulting engagements for large multinational corporations. As a consultant for global HR consulting firms, he has had broad exposure across industries and functional roles. Jeff’s early career was in educational institutions where he directed several career development and counseling centers, serving as a faculty member and lecturer. A frequent blogger, Jeff has written about executive leadership and development and has been published in Chief Executive magazine.
A native New Yorker, Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Binghamton University. He received his master’s degree in counseling and personnel administration and his doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
