Steve Madenberg

Steve is an RHR senior partner who provides executive-level coaching and advisory services for C-suite leaders, their teams, and their boards of directors. He understands the challenges and opportunities facing those leaders and uses his extensive experience to offer strategic counsel, as well as necessary feedback and perspective. Steve is also a trusted resource for board-sponsored CEO succession processes.

With deep expertise in finance, retail, pharmaceutical, and consumer packaged goods, Steve creates value by designing and delivering comprehensive talent programs that improve executive performance and accelerate preparedness for next roles. His approach is both holistic and personal, supporting alignment between the needs of the business and individual motivations and purpose.

Before joining RHR, Steve was head of operations at a market-leading organizational assessment company and an executive vice president at a firm specializing in management consulting for the retail sector. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College, a master’s degree from The College of William & Mary, and a Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of South Florida. Steve has an interest in spirituality, values lifelong learning, and seeks to live an authentic and meaningful life. In his free time, he can be found hiking, skiing, and sharing a homemade meal with family.
