RHR Awards Best Student Paper in Industrial / Organizational Psychology
CHICAGO – July 3, 2018 RHR International, the premier firm in the development of top management leadership of Global 1000 companies, awarded Midori Nishioka (pictured), along with Ramona Bobocel, the Kendall Award for the best student paper at the International Congress of Applied Psychology (ICAP) Convention in Montreal. The award was presented by RHR International in collaboration with the Canadian Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
This year’s winning paper was entitled, “The effect of construal level mindset on individuals' reaction toward supervisor fairness." The Kendall Award is given annually to an undergraduate or graduate student with the best paper in the area of industrial/organizational psychology. The award is named in honor of Dr. Lorne Kendall, a Canadian psychologist and member of the Canadian Psychological Association whose work on job satisfaction and various psychometric issues contributed greatly to the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
“Midori and Ramona have clearly demonstrated the outstanding qualities we look for in the recipients of the RHR International award” says Guy Beaudin, an RHR Senior Partner. “We are very pleased to honor such outstanding individuals.”
